PERMISSIONS
Powers requiring certain character permissions for use.
POWER NEEDING PERMISSION #1: Removal of EmotionsWhile Raven may seem like a normal empath, she has a bit of a special ability that comes with it. The power to completely (but temporarily) remove all the emotions in an individual. This will leave them feeling
nothing,
at all, for what I have averaged out to be a full hour.
The character will become somewhat of a zombie, I suppose - no happiness, no sadness, no anger, simply numb and empty.
Wiki, for instance, labels it as her "stealing" the emotions - she'll then feel it herself, much like she does when she takes pain from someone.
THIS WILL ONLY BE USED IN DIRE EMERGENCIES ON HER PART, she absolutely hates using it, and it's after-effects. However if someone is a danger to themselves, begs her enough to take away anguish, or if she's in the heat of battle, she may use this.
I will at no point ever spring this randomly on your character, it will always be talked about and arranged prior to it happening.Certain characters with mental boundaries and psychic shielding of sorts will be either not affected at all, or only
partially affected, depending on what you wish to do with it. Let me know what your characters would fall under in regards to that - or if they'll be zapped completely if it is ever used.
POWER NEEDING PERMISSION #2: Detection of Angels/DemonsSo, Raven is half demon. In her canon she has always been able to pick up demons quite easily, due to that being inside of her. It usually spazzes her out and makes her quite paranoid.
SO! Be you demon, angel, or only a portion of either, please let me know if you're cool with her detecting this about your character.
